A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a November disclosure of a uncommon leukemia diagnosis.
Family and Institution Confirm the Sad News
The sad news was announced in a public statement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Diagnosis
Within a personal essay this past fall, she disclosed that she had been suffering from a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a disease that affects the blood and bone marrow.
